Can you believe we are in the final quarter of this financial year already? With 3 down and 1 to go, I'd love to share a few pointers to help you maximise the final quarter of 2018:
1. Review your targets.
Are you on track to hit your sales targets? If so, are there incentives in place for your sales team to hit a higher target?
2. Review your activity.
Is your marketing and communications activity aligned to your business goals? If not, this can be a great quarter to review your activity and ensure it is in alignment.
3. Review your net profit goals.
Sales and marketing teams are often focussed on revenue targets. Sometimes this means profitability targets might not be front and centre. This quarter is a great time to ensure the revenue you are chasing is the right revenue (the profitable kind).
4. Get set for quarter 1 next year.
July 1 is too late to be thinking about your goals for next year. Get them clear now!
5. Celebrate the wins.
If you have some wins. Take time to celebrate them. All too often we are busy being busy and sometimes forget to take a moment to congratulate the teams getting the runs on the board for us. If you have high achieving teams, give them a pat on the back.
