 I have finally admitted that my dear husband Rod Grey is no longer going to work with me in our consulting business; Grey and Grey. His role at Cooper Cricket is continuing to grow as the business does.
So rather than continue trying to explain to the world that I am 1 half of Grey and Grey and the other half is really busy in another business, I have decided to come full circle, back to trading as: Roxanne Grey Consulting  As we head deep into the 4th quarter of this financial year, are you playing offence or defence?
 I am grateful to have recently facilitated a 2 day strategic retreat on Magnetic Island. And boy did Maggie turn on some great weather! After weeks monsoonal weather in North Queensland, the sun shone brightly for our 2 day strategic retreat.
 The Brisbane Lord Mayor's Women in Business Grant is open! This is a terrific opportunity for women in business in the Brisbane area to apply for a once-off $5,000 grant.
 Stage 2 of the Business Growth Fund from the Queensland Government will be opening on 1 July 2024. This is only for applicants who have made it through the expression of interest section of the program.
 Magnetic Island continues to be one of my favourite locations for facilitating strategic discussions.
 Grants of up to $5000 are now available for eligible Brisbane business women to apply for. The Brisbane Lord Mayor's Women in Business Grant can be used to fund activities including:
 There is a $10K - $20K small business grant about to open called the Business Boost Grants program. Funded by the Queensland Government, this grant is designed to assist small businesses to enhance their efficiency and productivity.
 As business leaders, the 1st July is a wonderful time of year! Every line item in the profit and loss resets to $0. Representing a clean slate and a new start line. Happy new financial year!
