Momentum by Michael McQueen is a book that combines inspirational thoughts and insights with pragmatic advice for how to build momentum, keep it or get it back. I have recently finished reading Momentum and I suggest that if you can get your hands on a copy, it's certainly worth it. McQueen is an award-winning speaker, consultant and trend forecaster. He has helped some of the world's best-known brands maintain relevance and is the author of four best selling books.
McQueen describes momentum as:
momentum = activity + focus x consistency He then goes on to explain this in detail. In addition to citing examples and providing advice on how to build, keep or get back momentum, he describes the negatives, which he calls the enemies of momentum. Wiley has published this book which includes one of my favourite quotes from McQueen: "There is a subtle but significant difference between being in a groove and being in a rut". As Molly Meldrum would tell us, do yourself a favour and get yourself a copy. Thanks Michael, a great read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Comments are closed.
