Only 5 to go!

There is literally only 5 months to go until end of financial year. Wow! This is the perfect time of year to take a some time out and re-focus to ensure these next 5 months are invested wisely.

A lot of businesses that we work with at Grey and Grey have commented that they have themselves gone through this pattern, or witnessed their colleagues go through a similar pattern since the beginning of the financial year, that is;

• Survival - a reactionary approach to the challenges the COVID has thrown at us
• Consolidation - a bedding down of the new way of business operations that acknowledges we're living in a world with COVID
• Thriving - a proactive move into a flourishing state of business, where opportunities are seized, market share is expanded and business is kicking up a notch

Now, of course we acknowledge that not every business is the same, and of course, some are still doing it very tough. However, there have been so many move into the thriving mode, and news of this being shared is very positive.

We've been supporting business leaders to make the most of the second half of this financial year with:

The other trend we've seen is more and more people have drawn a line in the sand at the end of 2020, and moved their planning calendars from financial year to calendar year.
