Traditional signwriting with a paint brush has become a dying art. With the popularity of digitally printed signage rising, the call for old school brush work is becoming less and less. However, for some projects it is simply the best technique.
Our signwriting team is called upon for large building signage, such as this project for Toyo Tires. A freshly painted white building provided the perfect canvas.
The lettering is marked out with a paper pounce.
Rod Grey, a qualified and experienced signwriter starts outlining the letters.
He then takes a larger brush to fill the lettering.
The project starts to take shape.
And the end result is great.
